OK, so I guess I'm just starting this blog to caution models on a few things, namely MM photographers that I've encountered that are sketchy. If I've sent you the link to this blog it's because I've noticed that you're a friend of so and so loser face. If you've been sent this link it's because I noticed that you're one of his friends. here's the message I've sent out to some of the girls in contact with him already. True story, it happened to me personally a couple weekends ago at the start of November.
Anyways, usually for free shoots they last 3 hours max off MM, he wanted to use me for 6hours, he didn't tell me until I got to Toronto. I went to Finch station because he lives right in Markham and we went to some rose park garden or wherever which was a good 15 minute drive from where he picked me up.
He was just really sketchy and he kept playing with my hair and fixing it, more than a normal photographer would. Right away when I got in the car he was like "you're really pretty" and he kept telling me that I was. Then when we got there he completely changed his mind on what he wanted me to wear. He wanted me to do an implied with my jacket on, which was fine because I've done implied before. Then he kept giving me hugs and I didn't want to piss him off and make him leave me stranded way the fuck in Markham so I just kept agreeing and playing along with whatever he said.
Anyways, and it gets better, and I feel really weird out by this. He was telling me that he wants to enter this "male power" contest and explaining how he wants a picture of a normal guy topless and whatever out in the woods, and then made me take the pics of him. He made me late for a really important interview and burned my bridges on that one because of it.
I kept calling him repeatedly for three days beforehand to talk about the shoot and if he would have told me beforehand he wanted me for6 hours, I would have been like "no fucking way buddy" not for free anyways! So I was stuck with waking up at 5AM to get to TO early enough for decent lighting for him. Then when we first met he asked me about facebook and asked if I did, and yeah I do. But then I changed my profile to private and now I'm all paranoid about him, he didn't even pay me for my bus ticket because we were supposed to shoot again the next day but I was too creeped out, I even deleted facebook so he wouldn't find me. So yeah, needless to say, you shouldn't shoot with him and when you talk to other models caution them about him, I don't know his last name or I would have just blocked him from facebook.
He asked for my home address to send the pics to, and he works in my area for wedding photography, so I gave him the wrong address, one I used to live at. I don't even want the pics now either. I just want to send him a nasty message and monitor other girls who comment on his profile and warn them. That's satisfaction enough for me. Anyways sorry for the long email, I just don't want this to happen to other girls. Just avoid him all together and warn others.
Oh yeah there was one point where I wore a sweater shirt and nothing underneath and he came towards me and it looked like he was reaching out his hand for one of my breasts, but when I saw that I just adjusted myself and gave him a weird look and he turned around and it looked like he was hiding a temper tantrum. Every time I mentioned my boyfriend he would roll his eyes too. Total creep alert!!!!
Though I was stupid to get in the car with no previous references off MM, I did send all his contact info, phone number, emails, MM profile and everything I had of him to one of my good friends. Then I check in with her after the shoot to verify my safety!!!
